Why Do Whales Sing? They Save On The Rates!
...
As I say about music (on link below after this post or the Click Here Site a science site of sound.) I think we may have evolved music mostly as a way to control our ideas of sound around us. We couldn't close our ears like our eyes because of evolution favoring us knowing what was going on at night to defend against wild animals. This was unlike vision because we could hear at night even without light so evolution would have our ears in a surround sound mode. Thus with all the sounds around us we felt strongly about day and night because our survival depended on it, to know which animal was where, and when to Watch Vanna's Stone Wheel of Fortune, we would have been much relieved when music was invented because it was organization of the sound where it was disorganized before, an organization is more in control than disorganization, so we got control over something important that boosted our survival.
-.
Other than via my explanation here via the evolution of music, it's unknown to music or science why whales sing or why they change some of the song and the rest of the whales copy the change. It would also be unknown why just the male whales sing. Because all the whales that sing sing the same song it's not believed that they're using it for courtship. Another explanation has been that the whales are marking out territory. As I say in this link about music I say think of it essentially as a way to control the "image" of sounds. The whales would be out in the ocean, and as they found when they fired up the first sonar to find submarines and boats in the WWII the other fish were making all kinds of sounds. This would be much like us in evolution, we would hear all these sounds our survival depended on we felt strongly about because we had to listen and to control the sound we invented music. And the whales would sing for the same kind of reason, just as listening to music makes a person feel they have more control, the whales would feel more in control with more regularization of the sounds around them than they would without the song. In a sense because we're the sum of all our weaknesses subtracted from all our strengths when we invented music we were expanding our territory by way of being more smart and this improved our survival, so the idea that whales are also marking out territory or at least holding their own also fits with this idea about what the power of our songs or whale's songs is about. And just as people are known to sometimes turn up the volume, the whales are so large that when there would sing they would also have a boom box of their own that no other fish would have as much advantage about, even for a zone of thousands of miles. It's well known that the whales communicate about on the frequency of low C on the high oceans and at this frequency they communicate all the way around the world because they're so loud and the sound carries so well in the water. Before the advent of the noise of boats in evolution a whale say, off the coast of Alaska, could sing a song to a whale south of Africa and be heard and understood. If this is true about the volume and the female whales aren't as loud, perhaps the whales had gotten so good in evolution at drowning out the other fish, the females may have neither had the need or the means to sing. If this explanation of whale song is true and the whales are made stronger by song, if they were deprived of their song a while (by some sort of reversable method no doubt, don't want to hurt the poor 200 ton behemoths) they would get more nervous and not be able to do as well, and to hear their songs in playback may calm them.

Another additional use of whale songs may be to improve their breathing, they stay underwater for an hour or more. Breathing is more like a marathon for whales because the water pressure is higher than our air pressure, so they may want to stay in shape by singing, the females no doubt may do deep DEEP breathing exercises too, the males may do more with more muscle.

Whales may change their song (not just sing it) because of something new to learn and also because of ideas they get from the sounds around them like other fish. While I think much of our ideas about what good music is was originally from the sounds we heard in the wild, to control the sound by capturing the magic of a roar in sound we would make music, much like painting a goddess on the wall of the cave would help us control the tribal magic of the hunt and our awe and fear of evolution in prehistoric life. Even so most Divas will tell you they don't get their ideas from the wild (other than weekend PM/AMs) so the whales would mostly just change their song from a need for something they haven't tried. Each day many people read the encyclopedia just for the Drills and Spills, and no bills or wills, I read the web too!
-
It's been believed that whales may change their song because of seasonal events in their life. For example whales off the coast of Hawaii have been seen to change their song at about the same time as whales in the Gulf in Mexico but it's believed the changes of the song in the cetacean blues for a gold planet are because of the environment and not shared communion because there's no way they could hear each other. But whales can make such a loud boom in the water it stuns the small fish and the whales eat the fish and it was a mystery till 2007 how elephants could sense each other many miles distant and know what to do as a cohesive unit with more savvy. They actually found that elephants actually stomp the ground and a sort of code and communicate by way of low frequency vibrations. If a whale in the Gulf of Mexico was nearer the seabed than all the boats with a large blast of sound, the song could be transmitted from the water to the rocks below. The ground transmits sound much faster and stronger than a lighter medium like air (in the Old West they would put their ear to the ground to hear the train to see if the train was near the stationary store) So it's not out of the question that the oceans of the world have been constantly tuned up with the whale songs before the arrival of boats, and the world itself may ring like a bell with the whale songs, or it may have rung for millions of years before the boats.
-
Being able to hear low amplitude (volume) sound waves would have been advantagous to whales to find other fish, and via this use of audio ear boosters though the boats stop the whales songs for more than a mile or two, evolution may allow them a way to send RSVIP's by singing a Whaleagram if the neighbors are a bit loud up the road of the beach.

A Giant Bio Computer, Each Cell Has All The Memory

A High Speed Rest Up The Memory Information Superhighway

They've found no definite center of memory in the brain, the entire image is in each small bit of the media it's stored in, so they compare it to a hologram. In the history of inventions, the brain has usually been compared to the highest memory storage at the time. The brain was compared in the 1800's with photography, in the early 20th century to a computer and in the later 20th century to a hologram. I think this is too simple because if all the cells in the brain had all the memory, evolution would have thought of just using a cell or two with a few spares for emergency. This may be like cloning and DNA because all the cells in the body have the same DNA which can be used to clone the entire dog, cat, or sheep, so the story would go. In actual life science no doubt it's not so easy. It's not natural to have all the control in one cell, or we would all be made of one cell. Division of labor in more complex life is stronger. All computers speak the same general language, but software to make sounds out of old LP's is not the same as the software to make 21'st century cybo memos, it's more efficient to use more than one type of software, and more than one type of cell. The brain has all the memory in one cell or cell unit but there are specialized structures that the other cells may be unaware what are about. Even so we may get a lot out of using these cell units if they contain most of the memory, as much as a supercomputer in a region just the size of a cell, whole rooms could be made with each cell with a seperate connection and life support, like having a hugely larger computer than the same amount of brain power.

MEMORIES, MEMORIES, REMEMBER THAT TIME MACHINE WHEN WE WENT TO THE OLD WORLD?

How does the brain create memory? I would liken it to a reflective pool where, like the hologram, the waves reach each cell. Unlike the hologram however it's changing in time so the reflections would be stored by something that changes in time. It seems the cells would be sort of growing at least at the synapses like with tree rings, and as the memory is formed that layer of the strata is layed down and stored on all the neurons of that type. To access the memory it won't take 20 years of rewind to remember to feed the horse before the show if there are sideways connections, sort of a shortcut by way of the wiring. A third distinction is about how the process of thinking builds up more of the cells used for that memory, a hologram is read only and like some forms of computer chips you read and write at the same time.
-
They've found that there are a few cells that control the rest of the brain, I would liken these to a "boss" and the rest of the cells to the "employees". While in the short run it would seem just controlling the boss would control all the rest well, if you have a boss with too much labor he could be sort of a dictator so in the longer term to strengthen the brain the better way may be to alternate in cycles with herbs or other strengthening motifs like exercises between the boss and the laborers, like the way evolution goes between mutation and selection or how science goes between theory and experiment or how the congress when it was ascendant was in cycles between the many democrats and the one of the republicans. Who would have thought the boss was no comic genius? Research shows that the rich people like the boss couldn't pay all the taxes even if they wanted to, there just aren't enough rich people to do it, the bourgeous were always the strength of great civilizations.

They say that we use all 100% of our brain but do we have such a great memory we remember just the past? I think evolution wouln't favor this because after a certain level, it might be easier to live in the past, and the future is what we have left like Bob Dylan may have said, "Don't Rewind your Rhyme, Your LP Has A Range Somewhat" (I can't remember! I wasn't alive in 1957.) Some use the explanation of memory where it's like a forest with an open meadow in the woods with the woods around it and there are the memory animals each about the memory, that show up in the meadow when we remember them. They are there all the time, but only when visable are we aware of what we've remembered. You hear about the brain research where they say when the brain is stimulated in operations it's proof we remember all there is, it's just that it's not apparent that we have. But if evolution favored looking foreward to make survival more probable, there would seem to be a tendancy to make much of the memory out of reach. The animals of the memory wear a path and the more traveled paths would be kept in use, but the woods to the side of the thickets in the brush would be so tangled with time the memory animal couldn't reach to fit in that path. If evolution favors the use it or lose it plan and it's more in our favor to create memories than just remember, this implies that the brain would have some sort of constant randomizing growth that would like the forest growing over and reducing unused memory paths. The reason the memory is recalled like in the operation would be sort of like going in the brush with a bright light, you can see well and the memory is "recalled" but just as with the brush it's tougher to move around in the path of the memory, so a prediction of this idea of memory not being constant may be that these memories found in the operations would be more with confusion just as in the brush with a bright light you often can't see what's in the forest as you move to many angles and you just get bits and pieces of the image with all the branches and leaves between you and the memory. This is possible but memory may not be like this exactly and the beam may be more illuminating, but it would seem to be true to some extent if the idea would be that the forest is continually growing over to keep the more worthwhile memories in use. So while we would actually remember off the memory path in a sort of passive way, in actual life most people would use 100% of the mind power they have in the present but for the most part we don't have memory of what time we got up and what we did the rest of the day 20 years ago, memory wouldn't be as much of worth as life, what's ours is the lifetime ahead of us <<<< ENRICHED BREAD MEMO FOR BOSS BUSINESS BOOST !-

Boats With VSTOL Wings To stabilize in Rough Seas

Have you seen those boats for high speed racing that go at 90 mph on the ocean? They pound the waves and in just a minute you are shocked. In actual it's like NFL for an hour! Heck may freeze over, The BC Fire Ants may finally win the Super Bowl!....a use of the science where the plane lifts up by it's own power and then sails sidewise may be of use for these boats. The planes use engines on the wings to make the same flow of the air on the wings as in a usual air plane except the plane is not moving, the lift is the same so the plane lifts up with out going foreward. If the boats had wings on the side of the usual hull (powered by turbo) if they sailed and the seas got rough, the wings would stabilize automatically with each wave, and use sensors to land just where most optimal on the wave, and if the seas got too rough, the boat could just sail above the waves and to return to land. And to go from where they usually lived they would just go by air to the ocean, and then zoom on the ocean from there. They have these motorcycle helicopters that can take off in slow hour, they may add the retractable wings to this.

Weather Control Simulation Machines Via Physics

Physicists are now using experiments they hope to learn of events out of reach like the Big Bang when they slam plasmas in the laborotory to see if they act like the membranes or branes invoked by some cosmologists to explain the observed smoothness of the cosmos, or to see if Hawking Radiation exists with physics like a waterfall and a fish that goes in water faster than light, with real water and real radiation, it's thought this may be proven or disproven, or at least with more certainty. While the giant membranes suposedly explain the smoothness of the cosmos by way of high speed expansion smoothing out the cosmos, this is recently disproven by The Wilkenson Probe which shows the cosmos on the largest scale to have a giant dot in the center and two ears on the sides. And the branes are not an explanation of where the cosmos came from, it just moves back the explanation of what caused the cosmos a second or two more, but is not a much better solution, it violates the second law of thermodynamics, that energy is neither created or destroyed. So one caution of using experiments to simulate physics may be whether the initial conditions may be even much the same, other than this, I think the idea is a good one, this might be a lot more physics worthy than in a science like biology, because physics is not so probablistic, laws like energy conservation have never failed (for hundreds of years!) but biology, unlike physics, resists simple math. A better explanation of the geometry of the cosmos than branes (since it's now proven to be nonuniform by the Wilkenson Starship) may be Vortex Generator Cosmology with circulation in perpetual motion out the jets and in the whirlpool of the cosmos then returning ot the jets in continual circulation, this may explain much in cosmology. The central dot would be the center of the jet and the ears on the side would be where the speed of the motion of the outside cone of the jet was most headed to us and so it would have more radiance in the image. Another Wilkenson finding was that the cosmos also has a cosmic equator and this would be explained by the disc of the cosmos being like more usual equatorial bands of galaxies, in the larger realm of the cosmos.

Possible ways to weather control have been devised. One problem is about knowing whether the machine will work beforehand. Computers are not yet powerful enough so the resolution of the cells of the storm is too low. As in the above a way to know beforehand if a weather control machine would work may be to achieve experiments with physical machines, the same way engineers build mockup rivers and oceans to test small ships or in windtunnels to test air flow.

How To Simulate Hurricanes

Eric Lerner in his book The Big Bang Never Happened offers support for nobel prize laureate Hans Alfven about plasmas. Plasmas are hot ionized gases. One proof Lerner uses in favor of plasma physics being of import in the history of the cosmos is about plasmas holding galaxies solid without centrifugal force causing them to expand. Astronomers say they're spinning too fast to be explained by gravity.

I think Lerner and Alfven were right for two reasons. First, uncancelled charges (ionized by the stars) can be much stronger than gravity because electromagnetism has a much stronger energy density than gravity. Usual gravity like the earth's doesn't cancel out like its electric charges which are almost zero overall. If the earth's electric field was uncanceled it would have a huge electric charge dazzeling us with fizz. So the ionization of the stars of the Milky Way may make it so a force stronger than gravity would hold it together, and no doubt mass around us is in solid bodies because of electric fields binding the mass, not uncancelled out gravity which is far too weak.

The second reason I agree with Alfven is vis a vis plasma dynamics. Lerner uses the example of what happens when small amounts of plasma are ionized in the lab with strong electric fields, small whirpools are formed, that look and seem to be like a galaxy. This makes plasma physics a viable way to explain the cause the dynamics of cosmic masses, not just gravity.

About weather control, this lab plasma vortex may have use in non computerized simulation because it may also be the same generally as a typhoon. Both are powered by heat and whirl inward. They may not be exactly the same but they might be enough alike we could make it where we achieve reliable conclusions about the machines to control the plasma well as they would compare with building full-size machines to control the typhoon without cost of building these machines that might not work. For example a recent patent is for a hurricane control machine that is essentially a giant boat in the eye of the hurricane that would spray jets of cooling water from the ocean to cool down the hurricane. Since hurricanes are powered by heat this cooling is thought to be a way to stop the storms. I've tended to think a better use of this machine would be to spray the water on one side of the eye and this would throw the storm off center enabling us to steer the hurricane wherever we would want away from the shore, much cheaper and easier to move the storm away from where people live than to just cool the huge storm (hurricanes generate an atom bombs worth of energy per second. And even if they build the giant machine of the patent in addition to this huge energy the storm is also picking up more energy continually from the surrounding ocean. Hurricanes also have worth, e.g. they cool the tropics dramatically.).

To test this and other beliefs about hurricane control machines, the small plasma whirlpool mentioned above may be of worth. To make it more nearly like the hurricane, first the plasma vortex would be modified so the surface below the small whirlpool would offer friction so this would simulate the resistance to forward motion the ocean's surface would exert on the storm and the electric field above the plasma could be increased to simulate gravity, and the simulation could be edited by computer to make it act the most like a real storm by changing parameters like cohesion of the gas, centrifugal force, and so on. Once we have the plasma vortex acting like the hurricane by methods such as these, we could then test scaled-down weather control machines. For example, the ways of moving or cooling the tropical storms by way of a water jet machine I speak of above could be proven or disproven by a small beam in the plasma vortex, the beam might be of just the right energy to enable us to make reliable predictions about what would happen with a real jet and a real storm (Wampires wouldn't be of worth, they would always make twice the number of punctures, throwing off the computations!). Other possible ways to achieve typhoon control that have been devised like my own innovations of either TOSSING AN ICEBERG MOVED FROM THE POLAR REGIONS INTO THE STORM to both cool the storm and throw it in another direction where we may want it to go by the reaction to the large mass thrown into the storm as the ice would throw off the balance of the storm, or heating or cooling the ocean to form a heat path the storm could follow. This could be tried without having to build the big machines "till proven" with the plasma vortex or other physics weather simulation machine provided the small storm would act enough like the large storm that conclusions derived by this type of physics are of worth. And other ideas like the use of explosives or tarps on one side of the storm vortex (this also might throw the storm offcenter) or the super water absorbent gel named Dynomat they've tried to control hurricanes with, could be with more proof, especially if the plasma could be powered up a good bit in width to make it easier to test the worth of these inventions. It's a good memory of 2018 whirlpool reminds me of spindry!

If the plasma motif turns out to be unviable, another option may be to make an actual water whirlpool and modify it till it acts like a real storm, or ionize water or other heavy molecules in air till they have good cohesiveness and then making whirlpools out of this gas, perhaps 3 feet wide in a larger room and seeing where it would go complete with a reduced shoreline and deep and shallow "water" like at the beach. Or a finned mobile machine sort of like a washing machine on a good surface might make implosion of the air or water, or a good torus of the right type on the right type of surface might be used to simulate the general motion of the action reaction.

A possible way to test my idea of moving the jets stream for a while by laser or other heating bemas from the ground to improve control of storms or heat in summer could be by cohesive fluid streams of two types. Another way may be by a large band with small motors on the lower belt that power small wheels to make it so it moves like a real jet stream and then see if beams of the right power change the machine.

Tornado control machines like lasers or my idea of a helicopter UAV with fins or plates with helicopter rotors on both sides to interrupt the downward flow of the heavy air near the interface of the heavy/light air above may be tested by a room with air of heavy and light density (when I was a teen I ate my lunch boxes and lunch VISA!.). One weather control option is by ionizing beams above and below the storm into the clouds of the storm to move the ions at the top or bottom of the storm close or distant to hopefully influence rain. Click Here For More. To find out if this would be feasable rooms of high humidity and rain would be used where the ions are like real rain, and the beams and airflow could be applied to see if the rain may be changed well enough to be viable in a real rainstorm, about price/worth, and so on, and other considerations. The weather woman causes great weather in her helicopter fan!

GENERAL (EARTH) WEATHER CONTROL
