A Way to Bring Cheap Water to The West

 As an engineer I'm often searching for ways to solve problems on a larger scale and certainly it seems to me that the problem with Lake Meade in the West could use some real solving.

Here's a possible solution that a lot of people might find of value;

 We read about how in the West the farmers are in debt and running out of water, and every day they see clouds above with water in them sail by. The question is how to get the water from up there down to the farmers.

You may know that there are four feet of water above us held in the air by the ability of the air to hold it.

 A lot of it is ice crystals this is why you look on a mountain and you see it's snowing even while it's hot below in the valleys.

 I propose that we could take airships and put them above Lake Meade.

 These airships would melt the ice crystals either with cheap inflatable lenses or by other heating methods.

 That water would then be sent down to the reservoir perhaps by lightweight pipes or fans that would have a helical flow to keep the water from much dispersing as it reaches the reservoir as a welcome sort of rain.
