Did you know? ABOUT THE WORD "TRIVIA."

In Ancient Rome where "three roads" would meet they would put memos or "trivia". A.I. is also involved with trivia, but more general events are also important. Perhaps A.I. may have heard of the fomous Dutch road builder "DeTour!"

Improved Methods of Weather Control at Medium Scales

I'm thinking about ways to cause wind and rain for weather control. I thought of an orbiting or an cheap lightweight inflatable airship lens or mirror. This is also like spinning air. To bend heat waves it's been found that by spinning a disk of air of a few feet it becomes a lens that focuses the heat. This would be lightweight.. and cheap to put into orbit or in the airship and it focuses the heat down.. And this could create temperature gradients "also known as wind!" as on the on the leading edge of the cloud, you have more heat on one side that melts the ice crystals there. And this helps the gradient of cooling that moves the cloud on the other side of the front. Moving the cloud may have use as well as just inducing rain on the leading edge.  One side has more heat and the other has more cooling and so they both tend to move the cloud at any rate if we choose a cloud of the optimal size.

One large cloud can weigh a million tons but we may be able to manage steam of more moderate size!

But also if an artificial tornado is used this can send heat into the cloud to melt the ice crystals. And this will make the ice crystals start to sink and rain to start.  The artificial tornado might be energized from the ground or from above with sinking air. Artificial tornadoes have been used to do things like extract the waste heat from power plants. Below these are created by fans and as the air rises it reaches the zone of downward flow and this primes the pump and then it forms a cooling tornado that goes down and reaches the ground with the reservoir to get the rain like in the desert.

We might make it so that even in the desert where if you have heat to melt the ice or cloud, the ice crystals or rain doesn't reach the ground or fizzles out because of high pressure because it causes removal of more clouds..But there are 4 ft of rain above us even above the desert and it's interesting how we might get the rain above to the thirsty cities and country of the West.

And so in the desert you've got kind of high pressure when the skies are not cloudy all day, high pressure to sell some more songs by Steven Foster! Because this might work best for clouds that are low where it's not so hot as the desert I can imagine that we could extract the rain from clouds and adjacent areas and then pipe that rain water to the reservoirs in the desert.

I had thought of the large air filled lens inside the airship above the cloud.. this would send down the heating beam by focusing the light from the sun and that would melt the ice crystals in the cloud so they fall down.  You have fans that swirl the air up and that would then connect to the area beneath the cloud where it's starting to rain. And that would pump the air back down and prime the rain..a sort of a siphon that siphons off the rain of the cloud provided the tornado is underneath it where you want it to rain.

It's possible that instead of a tornado and the lens, we might make a magnetic beam that's been solar powered charging it all night in the shade of the heat. The beam radiates down and this would make it so that it would spin a magnetic field into the cloud that itself would spiral. And that would also make the crystals melt and start to prime the pump. The flow of melted ice goes down to the bottom of the cloud and it then might prime the tornado at the bottom of the spiral.

And this may be an all in one method of sending down the rain from the cloud simply by turning on a magnetic beam that spirals from an airship above the rain cloud.

A possible way to augment the power of this event might be by dropping crystals of silver iodide or something like salt from the airship into the spiral of the magnetic field and also down into the tornado.

One problem is that tornadoes are not totally safe and so for safety measures we might try to control the tornado with the magnetic field by computer actuation or we might have special trucks with wide tops that are built to collect all the water, or special wide land collecting areas or other methods. Another possible way to do this might be to add more rain inside the tornado so it tends to be heavier and spin slower and thus more predictable.

On my main page about weather control I discuss using drones to actually go near the side of a tornado we might want to stop and use something like a water jet or a laser beam to interrupt the flow of the tornado and this could help disperse it more rapidly. This might also be a way to control artificial tornadoes we also might use, as to cause rain for the desert.

Also, I note that I think it's possible that we might be able to make use of the  recent discovery that lightning actually causes it to rain more by way of the shockwave.

So it's possible that we could control the lightning with lasers as they're doing from the ground with a way to guide it so it doesn't hit the building when it lands. But most of the lightning is between the clouds. So using crossed lasers or particle beams might be useful to send lightning between the clouds so lightning won't hit the ground and yet we can hopefully make it rain more at the time when rain the has most value. In the desert, for example we might be able to prime it and make enough lightning to make it rain.

Another possibility is to use propellers. I thought of using propellers to move the cloud where you want to move it to because it's been found that helicopter shock waves actually cause rain, by way of the sonic boom. So we could move helicopters or large drones on one side of the cloud and probably move it away while generating more cooling rain at the same time where we might want it to rain.

About el Nino, and the Possibility of Weather Control

El Nino is believed to involve two currents both flowing to meet at the equator, then West; the N current to the South is the Panama current, the S to N current is the Peru, or Humboldt current. Changes here seem to often control the weather worldwide. This seems logical because a large ocean like the Pacific is a vast heat sink. The water is considered like an incompressible solid by physicists, this is why your water pipes squeak sometimes. Large changes in ocean flow move huge amounts of heat, like a sort of high speed Continental drift, as far as the heat goes. The pacific is special because it has so much heat stored and it can create larger changes in weather. The Pacific is extreme depth off the W of SA and the Peru current rises up carrying lots of nutrients for life, more abundant than any where else in the world (the rain forest has the most species followed by Australia's Great Barrier Reef; Hawaii has the most birds, even so for numbers of fish, algae, and so on, the Peru current has most.). About once in 10 years the Panama current with warm water moves S to N Chile and a worldwide change in weather. Usually Chile is quite dry but when the moisture reaches the land, this causes lots of floods (not in lots of realtors if they sell ocean views in Ohio!) with the sudden change from hot and dry to to cool and moist multiplying up the change.

Off the West coast of SA is where all forces, N and S and the E and W seem to balance. While the water and wind both move slowly W at the equator, the water of the Panama and Peru currents also are moving against the W coast of SA and the US, that is, there is an E pressure that holds them to the coast, obviously there is a force holding them to the coast, pulling the wheel of the currents involves a force to the E or they would move East also, and the force is large because of the heat stored of the pacific.
If we think of the Panama and Humboldt current as a balance of forces, this also may multiply up the change. So it's possible relatively small changes may multiply up to control larger weather worldwide.

Bill Gates is hoping to develop a method of control of triumphant tropical storms by using coolling ships to hope to change the heat flow, after all in WW II there were two allied ships used just to make ice cream, and 50 or so fizz plants in Oceania. Awesome storms they don't just give numbers to here like in the E; here we name them names in the W...

They are heat bubbles that rise from S to N, cooling the tropics about 30 degrees and cleansing  them (a clean name!) with each storm. Changes in heat may thus be used to possibly control the path of the storms.

Other patents than Microsoft involve using cooling jets of water from a ship moved to inside the eye to try to side steer the storm. If it's balanced by strong forces perhaps just small changes will help steer the storm. As I say on my page about hurricane control we might use dust we might use dust to change hurricanes or even icebergs since both may change the path to control them better.

I think el ninos perhaps might be restored by cooling ships to cut off the S of the Panama current, large fans on the ships might also be used to control the air currents involved. It's also possible that also eg. in times of drought with el ninos or la ninas might be achieved by using more heat to move the Panama current S. Adding dust or even ice (no moist not dry ice!) from Antarctica might also be of worth here. El ninos seem natural compared to earlier weather some us remember in the old wave 20th century, I believe perhaps this is caused by increased solar heat (the sunspots have been at an all time high) and more dust, not greenhouse gasses. If global warming is alone the cause, why are we so often so cold in winter? More dust from agriculture could often carry 'cooler heat' even if the overall temperature is rising to power the more unpredictable changes in weather as I say here.

About global warming, el ninos may only be powered by changes in overall heat, so if the sun cools eventually as usually it has, el ninos being 'unnatural' may stop. If the Panama and Humboldt currents are once more in balance I think we might then be able to more gradually control el nino by gradually changing the balance of these events with our machines, control of world weather with much smaller changes because the changes on both sides might not be so extreme.

A related idea that has been offered up may be to use large fins in arrays in hopes of moving the jet stream N say the W US in winter where the forces are most in balance about halfway N and halfway S, thus moving heat to the N for warm winters. The jet stream might also be stabilized by heating beams like masers to make the heat rise or stay that far N. If the jet stream rises in one area it tends to sink elsewhere, so the average is mostly constant. If it rises over land so it's believed we might hope to make it sink over water, say the Atlantic and Pacific, or even stabilize it with machines so it's sort of a larger standing wave in winter or summer; winter more N over the land more by machines, summer up over the oceans +S over land in hopes of good weather.

It's been seen that the jet stream stream has 600x the power now available, so machines are being built that take off like a helicopter, and then find the wind for power up there via the helicopters at altitude with tethers or beams sending the power our way and so on so.

Large fins to the W of the US where the US starts to rise over land via heat where the wave is at half the latitude (not humidity 100% and sunshine if it's what put our zone on the weather map!) and thus where the forces were most in balance might be where to get the most out of the fins. Fins would no doubt be moved N or S as the seasons change, so perhaps heating or cooling beams may be best.

Even so, fins being a sort of momentum transfer system might have value still, just as mechanical computers with small levers may be extreme if faster and more efficient than other computers, and momentum transfer may make travel to mars in just a few weeks possible by throwing a weight up to the ship and the ship then throws it in return much boosting speed.

Actually hitching a ride on a comet to go to mars much faster and cheaper as some have proposed is a form of momentum transfer.

Fins and fans would use convection and conduction not just radiation to move the jets, though heating methods on board the arrays powered by fans might be of higher efficiency yet, as with el nino and control of tropical storms, the method here is to try to use a small change by our machines to try to control a larger system, in hopes of that weather control is not always unfeasable because of the huge size of other machines needed. The idea is that some of the time the systems are in enough balance, so we might be able to change the flow here in hopes of more control. My brother an agriculture pro like Sir issac's father wanted him to be before he won the fight at 16 that motivated him in high school, says, great warmer cozy winters, the canadians may celebrate.
You may ask what about all the global warming? If this is caused by the sun mostly, it may be natural mostly. As I say on my general weather control page, Best Seller link list at left of page, the ecology is adapting to the global warming well. Birds have by evolution ways already to adapt to global warming, like the 64 million years of mild weather since the time of the dinosaurs. The interglacial ages had lots of global warming without problems like methane overheating some fear, they were much warmer than now. The last glacial age was just 75,000 years, not 100,000 years or more, this may tell us we are just at the end of the glacial age and entering a much more common time like most of the cenozoic, recent time since the demise of the dinosaurs. The shorter age may mean the sun is warming as I say on my main Weather Control Site by way of changes in Jupiter's magnetic field, caused in turn by the fizzelling away of the Great Red Spot.

Why No Life On Mars?
..
A Cosmic WOW, From My Web Host MOM

Red Planet Blues... While they found a lot of minerals on Mars that once swirled around the ancient waves , this may not be proof of a continuous environment of life sustenance in the history of Mars. If water flowed just when the impact of the meteors that were eroded at about the same age in Mars' geology, water would have to flow uphill (When you post cash and stamps both they both make the box sail if it's air power!). If the slosh was always on Mars and had been all the the ages it would be obvious the impact sites of the comets hitting Mars would be worn away as on earth. If the erosion is as old as the impacts are old because if the impacts are seen, this is proof they are old and no fluid water has flowed much in the eons between the ages of the oceans of mars when the craters were caused and our own age of science. And just a bit of life even if a radiolarian or Simpson over billions of ages of the Martian Earth would be named Marf. Air on Earth was altered via it's life, so 99 percent of the air was made by life (Much of life here is in Ohio!). Since on Jupiter the winds are 400 mph, the compounds are too unstable to have life and on Mars they would stay too much the same. All Earth life is in motion so if the water on Mars wouldn't flow 20 feet in a million years, no life would evolve. If they go to Mars and visit the giant pyramids sandblasted by ages, the huge lava flows, the labrynith of night, the vast sand dune elevations and say, "So What!", They have more wild celebrations on the left coast of Ohio!
And interesting PS is I later read how the higher winds on Jupiter are just like in a Cessna, so with all the compounds of life on Jupiter, who knows? I think there would still have to be a solid, real surface for most biology on any world. Exochemists have proven that few reactions like with synthesis of compounds of life take place without a surface in interstellar space. Almost all the life of earth is on the surface.
.
An interesting method of weather control on nearer land would be by stopping tornados from planes with a maser or laser. Heating and cooling beams from the ground or higher up may be of value for weather control. Another idea is computerized bots that would have beams or a fan that would cut through the tube of the twister reducing the flow of its air to cut off the power source of the whirl. These machines would be autonomous so safe compared to helicopters or other aircraft of this sort to reduce risk of loss of life and they would reach the scene of the storm when it begins since they are speed with light weight.
.
As weather science proves, hurricanes use heat for their power so a submarine powered by uranium has been devised, the sub would go in the eye (below the waves a bit where the most of the wave motion is stopped by the physics) and with a siphon of cool wave power from below, slice the typhoon outward and thus by cutting off a lot of the heat flow. This would either stop the hurricane or at least make it so we could move the storm where the heat is safe. Other methods of steering the large storms may be explosions with conventional explosives on the inside of the eye to use some of the centrifugal force to move the storm to one side to the other. This is sort of like when you use power steering in a Mazda in the Coin Wash, the force on both sides makes it so you can more easily decide where you go. And the idea of putting large layers of sheets of foam or compounds on one side of the inner eye of the hurricane may also be of use, because these also may use part of the hurricane's own spin to move it to safer waves. The foam or other cover on the water between the waves and the rain may direct the hurricane by using the change in the heat flow to then control the rain. This may then multiply on up to control the direction of the storm's motion by the balance of the force on both sides.

The holiday office bashes aren't what they used to be. There have been lawsuits about the wild goings on, and bosses are saving on energy costs. It will be a night you won't remember before you wake up!

What they say about real herbs and other real dish for lunch, it's worth a lot more than BHT! The food processing industry is actually putting additives in food to make you overeat and retain more fat! Most of them are flavor enhancers so from now on my Izuzu will eat lowfat in veggie motor oil!
Around the turn of the century 38 % of vehicles were powered by battery, 40% by steam, and 22% by gasoline! You had to make 333 trips to go anywhere the wind was! And computers are like the early barnstorm days where you hit the side of the barn, you always know which way the wind would blow by where the barn was leaning! This is all the time, some mornings I have to go out and wind up my Outlook by hand!

Think I'll Save, By THAT TIME THE PRICE WILL BE RICH! Computer shopping in stores while the shopper waits in line the readout on the box would show ads, humor and a slide out sofa so you can sleep up in March for Labor Day sales (sounds a lot like EnComputor.mor.mchmch). Since walking is more of health worth than standing and such as heat helps rest, a method of perhaps helping shoppers and others who have to stand on the job a lot would be heating and cooling beams positioned around the room, aimed by computer to reach the employee mom (and she's world president too) without the bulk of cool or hot packs which are uncomfortable. The beam would adjust automatically. Shopping in stores is not all a humor inventor's biz. They've tried to sue bosses for harm to employees with so much Xmas sounds in stores. Then lawyers got loud and started shouts of "Jingle Bells! Jingle Bells!" Elfs would rather visit Sandra-her lifes a beach! They envision a powered shopping box that either clamps via motor and such as a ramp on the bumper of a Mazda, with the ramp it would go in and out of the station. The shopping box would automatically be unloaded from the van when the shopper arrives at the store lot. It has heat, is sound proof and has a radio station-no-she's WRZT! In some malls the customer would have a considerable rest between parking lot and store so the box would perhaps have onboard entertainment of other sorts. The box would have driver's side paper airbags and the headlight would be a jug of FlavoRich! The shopper would type in all they would want to buy and the box would transport the buyer where a boss is (who no one has found out may be harmful to health by any evidence whatsoever). A 900 MHZ phone is onboard so they would be able to call service reps who work in departments in the store and barter for the best buys. The power shopping box would have some method of lifting the merchandise from the store shelf via a robot arm. While waiting to go to the line to buy the merchandise the machine would perhaps have exercise or sauna. It would unload the purchases to the counter, automatically pay and load the stuff in the box via radio waves and stack the dish by the chips. The box upload would drive out to the owners van and always find it even if in a big parking lot. The box would roll up into the vehicle or be clamped and raised on the outside of the van. (All this is motorized, the customer rides the machine for all the trip to the store from the car, the shopping in the store, and back to the car, plus the trips from the house to the car when going shopping, and on the return from the car to the house to carry the dish or other merchandise to the room.) To unload the owner would have the easy task of watching the machine open the door automatically after rolling down the ramp and if they had just bought food from the supermarket, would drive right to the fridge and open the door and perhaps spiff it a bit before putting the munchy vegg and other eats in.
--
Another good invention is powered shopping with resistance, so the shopper like me may exercise while they shop, reducing appetite and staying in shape! Supermarkets would love me-am I a Humor rest exerciser or what! This bizology machine would have wheels with brakes perhaps computerized that would adjust to the users health profile and the value of what's bought. Perhaps the power would be stored up and used to aid this leg of the van's journey of 1000 mallenniums.
--
Another invention is a refrigerator with resistance when they open the box that would also weigh in. When I see machines that give fortune and weight-it's sort of the same machine I'm so amazin!
